TEMPEST LACROSSE IS EXCITED TO HOST OUR INAUGURAL SIXES LEAGUE THIS WINTER!  OPEN TO HIGH SCHOOL & MIDDLE SCHOOL PLAYERS, THE FORMAT WILL FOLLOW WORLD LACROSSE - FASTER PACE, HIGHER SCORING.

WHO CAN PLAY?
High School - Grad Years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025

Middle School - Grad Years 2026, 2027, 2028

WHAT IS TEMPEST SIXES?

• Game play follows WORLD LACROSSE

• 6v6 on the field at a time (5 field players, 1 goalie per team)

• Fast-paced & max repetitions

• 45-minute games

• Pick your teams or sign-up as an individual!

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Shot clock appropriate per age group will begin with turnover

• Draws begin each half; Goalies initiate game play after goals are scored

• Flow of the game is maintained aiming to keep touches high and speed fast

• Players play full field, both offense and defense; substitutions are made during transitions

• Coaches will be assigned to teams to help devise game plans, manage substitutions and provide in-game coaching!

 

SESSION BREAKDOWN

• 1st Day: Introductory rules/concepts and game play!

• 2nd-3rd Day: Round robin game play!

• 4th Day: Championship & Consolation games
